Milesimes

2019

Powerful, generous, and aromatic wine, with a rich and solar character.

On the nose, aromas of ripe cherries and plums are complemented by a classic green pepper note, along with nuances of carob and figs. On the palate, the wine reveals a dominant character of green pepper and Morello cherry, followed by exotic spices such as cinnamon and cumin, as well as hints of Kirsch and black fruits, including blackcurrant and blueberry, with a touch of chocolate. The wine's tannins are still present but silky and velvety, providing a beautiful viscosity and depth to the wine, which finishes with great concentration and length. We recommend decanting for at least an hour to fully appreciate this wine's complexity.

Ageing potential: 10 to 15 years, or even more.

2020

The vintage is a true charmer that exceeds all expectations, presenting a slightly rounder and more powerful character than its already impressive 2019 counterpart.

The nose boasts notes of fresh green pepper, interwoven with hints of ripe figs, musk, and piquant spices. On the palate, dominant flavours of green pepper and luscious Morello cherry are complemented by undertones of dark prunes, succulent blackberries, and a touch of sumptuous chocolate. Velvety and soft tannins merge seamlessly with a lingering bitterness that imparts depth and complexity to the wine's finish. We recommend decanting for at least an hour to fully appreciate this wine's complexity.

Ageing potential: 10 to 15 years, or even more.
